North Lakeshore Chorus 2024 Concert Tour
From June 29 to July 9, 2024 the North Lakeshore Chorus toured in France, Belgium and the Channel Islands to pay tribute to the Canadian soldiers who landed on the shores of Juno Beach eighty years ago. Highlights include singing at the Vimy War Memorial, Juno Beach and Museum, at the cathedrals of Caen and of Amiens, at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium, and in the Town Churches of Guernsey and Jersey.
We were delighted that Heather Christiansen, Music Director of Belleville Choral Society, conducted the choir and Tom Dietzel, BCS pianist, accompanied. Our guest piper was Garret Rodgers.
