Day One – Thursday June 30
Those arriving from Toronto may want to visit
- “The Rooms” (walk time: 20 minutes from hotel) (hours: 10 am – 5 pm on Thursdays)
- The Veiled Virgin in the convent beside the Roman Catholic Basilica ((walk time: 15 minutes) (hours: 10 – 12 and 1 – 4 weekdays only – 15 people at a time)
Evening rehearsal in the hotel
Overnight in St. John’s
All sight-seeing events in St. John’s area are subject to change depending on the weather
Day Two – Friday July 1
Sing at 6 am Sunrise Ceremony at Signal Hill
Participate at noon in Memorial Day Service at Conception Bay South War Memorial
Sing for the guests following refreshments
Sing at 4 pm at the Canada Day Concert at Confederation Hill
Group dinner
Fireworks display at Quidi Vidi (optional)
Overnight in St. John’s
Day Three – Saturday July 2
Tour of St. John’s (mini-sings)
Dress rehearsal and full concert at Wesley United Church
Overnight in St. John’s
Day Four – Sunday July 3
Sing for half hour before morning church service at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church (Garrison Church) and during service
Flexible itinerary – depending on weather – possibly Cape Spear (mini-sing), part of the Irish Loop to Colony of Avalon Archeology Site OR boat trip at Bay Bulls
Overnight in St. John’s
Day Five – Monday July 4
Flexible itinerary depending on weather – possibly visit Cupid’s Cove Plantation (archeology dig) and Brigus, Harbour Grace, and Carbonear

Tour Transatlantic Cable Station (Heart’s Content Cable Station Museum) (mini-sing)
Visit Heart’s Delight (Gord Hippern’s family home) (mini-sing)

Day Six – Thursday July 5
Tour Bonavista Peninsula, visit Ryan Premises, Cape Bonavista

Tour Eastport and Salvage
30 minute concert in Holy Cross Anglican Church in Eastport

Sound check and 1 hour concert at Aviation Museum in Gander

Travel the Road to the Isles stopping at Beothuck Centre at Boyd’s Cove
Visit Twillingate Lighthouse
30 minute concert, St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Twillingate

Free time in Twillingate after lunch
Visit Prime Berth Fishing Museum
Overnight in Gander
Day Nine – Friday July 8
Travel to Grand Falls / Windsor (mini-sing at War Memorial)
Watch Atlantic Salmon swim up the Exploits River

Dinner at pub in Ocean View Hotel and Anchor’s Aweigh comedy troupe and musical performance (optional)
Overnight in Rocky Harbour
Day Ten – Saturday July 9
Western Brook Pond boat tour (optional) (possible impromptu mini-sing on boat) or free time
Visit Lobster Cove Lighthouse and Interpretation Centre (optional) or free time

Day Eleven – Sunday July 10
Free time in morning in Rocky Harbour
Ferry crossing to south side of Gros Morne
Group midday meal in Woody Point
Time to explore Woody Point
Visit Discovery Centre and Tablelands Mountains
Sound check and full concert at St. Pat’s Church in Woody Point

Day Twelve – Monday July 11
Travel north along Viking Trail to St. Anthony with stops along the way at The Arches and Port aux Choix
Group midday meal in Plum Point
Sound check and full concert at St. Mary the Virgin in St. Anthony

Day Thirteen – Tuesday July 12
Visit L’Anse aux Meadows and Norstead (30 minute concert at each)
There will be no formal stop for lunch today so take snacks or a picnic lunch for yourself

Travel south along Viking Trail to Corner Brook
